Unique Passive

Cruel Play

Has Revive built in by default. When attacking an enemy that does NOT have a heal-block effect, increases the crit chance received by the target by 10% ~ 25%. In that case, or when reviving, gains the buff "Cruel Play".

Cruel Play (buff effect):

  • Physical penetration +10% ~ 25%.
  • Crit chance received -10% ~ 25%.
  • Turns the 8 tiles around the character into a control zone.
  • Lasts 2 turns. Cannot be dispelled.

From 6th Awakening: At end of turn, if the Cruel Play effect is held, recovers HP equal to 50% of attack power and teleports (instant move) to a designated tile within 3 tiles around.

Classes

Gamma's base job is Ranger. Tier 2 class is the exclusive class "Oppressor". Tier 3 classes are Abyssal Viper / Thorns Queen / Briar Queen. Thorns Queen is shared with Mary. All of Gamma's classes can move ignoring control zones. Despite having wings, she is not a flying-type, so has no flying movement.

Abyssal Viper

Exclusive class that can learn "Sadu Geumnapyeon". Passive: Max HP increases by up to 20%, damage received decreases by up to 20%, and at the start of each turn gains one of "Cold Gaze" or "Frenzied Trampling".

Cold Gaze:

  • Single-target damage dealt +50%, single-target damage received -50%.
  • At the start of an allied turn, loses this effect and gains a shield equal to 50% of max HP for 2 turns.
  • Cannot be dispelled. Duration permanent.

Frenzied Trampling:

  • AoE damage dealt +50%, AoE damage received -50%.
  • At the start of an allied turn, loses this effect and recovers HP equal to 50% of max HP.
  • Cannot be dispelled. Duration permanent.

Thorns Queen

Exclusive class that can learn "Erotic Scar". When attacking an enemy, attack power increases by 30%, and after attacking, applies to the damaged enemies the un-dispellable debuff "Yoke of Pain" for 2 turns: at the character's end of turn, if their HP is not 100%, 1 random debuff is applied. Also, when attacked by an enemy that has "Yoke of Pain", returns 30% of the first damage as physical fixed damage.

Briar Queen

Exclusive class that can learn "Royal Execution"; has the exclusive Oppressor-Briar Queen tree. Passive: Damage received decreases by up to 20%, and decreases by an additional 5% per other unit within 2 tiles around (max 50%). After attacking an enemy, if the damaged target is not a large monster and is within 1 tile, applies "Pain of Intimidation".

Pain of Intimidation:

  • Attack power and spell power -25%.
  • When taking non-bleed damage from the caster, takes defense-ignoring damage equal to 25% of max HP.
  • Weaken / Bleed attribute.

Skills

SkillTPRangeCDEffect
Manggeuk Yurin / Ten-Thousand Extreme Trampling2-3• Designate a direction and pull enemies within a 3x5 range to the nearest possible tile, dealing defense-ignoring damage equal to 50% of attack power. • Directional / ranged / position-control attribute.
Sadu Geumnapyeon2-3• Teleport to a tile adjacent to 1 designated enemy within 1~3 tiles around, then attack, dealing damage equal to 150% of attack power and applying the "Heal Reversal" effect for 2 turns. Heal Reversal: Healing received is converted into damage equal to 50% of the heal amount. Cannot be dispelled. Duration 2 turns.
Royal Execution4-3• Deal damage equal to 140% of attack power to enemies within 3 tiles around; hit targets move randomly within their movable range, then gain the "Fear" effect. Fear: Unable to act. Crit chance received +10%. Lasts 1 turn. Action-control / fear attribute.
Pyeoninmu2--• Choose to activate either Gyeon-pyeoninmu or Tan-pyeoninmu; effectively 2 skills that share a cooldown. The key difference is whether the enemy is pulled or Gamma approaches; otherwise they are largely the same. This skill cannot be guarded/escorted. Gyeon-pyeoninmu: Attack enemies in a straight line for 80% of attack power. Also drags the enemy until blocked by an obstacle; if the enemy is dragged to within 2 tiles of Gamma, deals an additional attack for 40% of attack power. Then applies Heal Reversal (healing enters as half damage) for 2 turns. Tan-pyeoninmu: Attack enemies in a straight line for 80% of attack power. Also Gamma advances until blocked by an obstacle; if Gamma closes to within 2 tiles of the enemy, deals an additional attack for 40% of attack power. Then applies Heal Reversal for 2 turns. (Note: the evaluation prose mentions this skill's multiplier as "only 120%" (?), while the skill descriptions above list 80% + 40%.)
Erotic Scar1--• Deal 1 damage to 1 ally; in exchange, that ally's movement increases by 1 and, for 1 time only, their next combat attack becomes a guaranteed critical hit, applying the "Erotic Scar" buff which is removed after the crit occurs. • Range 2.

Ultimate

Violet Anthem

Designate 1 enemy and deal damage equal to 100% ~ 115% of attack power to enemies within 2 tiles around the target. Applies the "Bleed" effect to hit targets, and applies the "Heal Reversal" effect with a 60% chance. AoE skill.

Bleed: At end of turn, deals defense-ignoring damage equal to 30% of the caster's attack power. If hit by a slash- or pierce-attribute critical attack, an over-bleed effect triggers for defense-ignoring damage equal to 30% of attack power. Damage-over-time, bleed attribute. Duration 2 turns.

Exclusive Weapon

Azure Fleur

Additional stats: physical penetration and max HP.

Common effect: On attack, gain the "Trail of Sarin" effect.

  • Trail of Sarin: Crit chance and crit damage +10% ~ 15%. Lasts 1 turn. Cannot be dispelled.

Exclusive effect:

  • On attacking an enemy, gain the "Cheonggeuk's Punishment" effect.
  • Cheonggeuk's Punishment: Crit chance and crit damage +10% ~ 15%. When dealing damage, applies the "Cannot Be Healed" effect to 1 random target among those without a heal-block effect. Lasts 1 turn. Cannot be dispelled.
  • Cannot Be Healed: Cannot be healed. Lasts 2 turns. Cannot be dispelled. Heal-block attribute.
  • At end of turn, if there are enemies within 2 tiles around, deal damage equal to 25% ~ 50% of attack power to all enemies in range.
  • 3~4 Awakening: On dealing that damage, recover 1 TP.
  • From 5 Awakening: On dealing that damage, recover TP equal to the number of enemies damaged.
  • When another ally ends their turn, if there is an enemy without a heal-block effect within 2 tiles around, deal damage equal to 25% ~ 50% of attack power to all enemies in range.
  • 3~4 Awakening: On dealing that damage, recover 1 TP.

Awakening

(not present)

Note: There is no dedicated awakening/dupe-progression section. Constellation milestones are only mentioned inline in the performance text: 3~4weapon: +1 TP recovery on damage, 5weapon: TP recovery equal to number of enemies hit, 6passive: at turn end while holding "Cruel Play" buff, recover HP = 50% of ATK and teleport to a designated tile within 3 cells.

Guide

(NamuWiki community assessment, KR server. Subjective community opinion. No explicit S/A/B tier rating is stated.)

A skirmisher specialized in applying heal-block debuffs. Both survivability and firepower are mediocre, she loses utility the more she applies Heal Reversal, and each class passive has a "trip-up" point built in; yet with Heal Reversal alone she secures at least one clear niche, making her a comparatively PVP-oriented, and specifically manual-PvP-oriented, character. Mary was an awkward hybrid dealer/debuffer whose position was unclear, but Gamma is specialized in guerrilla warfare, i.e. area formation-breaking + applying Heal Reversal, then fleeing, so at least her purpose is clear. Pull the whole enemy group in with Ten-Thousand Extreme Trampling, spread Heal Reversal over an area with the dedicated-weapon follow-up hit, then escape with Cruel Play, and her job is done; she is good at sniping sustained-heal characters like Deimos or revive characters. In particular, despite being a collab, she becomes a meaningful counter to Altair, who had been dominating the PvP meta. If you take the weapon to 5th Awakening, you can also aim for area stun with Royal Execution. Lacking flight movement is a shame, but as a Ranger she has high base movement, and at 6th Awakening+ she gains conditional teleport-on-turn-end as a passive, so mobility is also excellent. Thus in actual PvP she ends up paired with Altair + Zad, copy-pasting even the +2 movement-range buff.

However, because she is all-in on that single niche, do not expect her to perform in PVE or raids. In particular, due to the above 6th Awakening+ conditional teleport, if used in a raid she will almost always leave the coordination position, and there is no way to prevent it. Also, while you can build a blue-attribute party with Saint Seed, unlike with Mary she is unaffiliated, so she cannot receive the powerful Pendragon-faction buff support that Saint Seed provides, which is another downside. Do not be dazzled by the design; check her purpose before pulling.
