Chief of the Imperial Seven Knights. A renowned general, admired by the people of the Empire for his exceptional leadership and thoughtful character.
After Beradin became regent, he was demoted and relegated to the position of Governor of Cutis. Though displeased with Beradin for disregarding the Black Prince's vision of unifying the continent, he has no choice but to follow Beradin's orders, unable to openly defy him.
Defined above all by one choice: at Moonshade Forest in Chapter 1, he corners the fleeing Pandragon refugees and lets them go. The honourable face of an empire that does not deserve one.
Running Arc
The honourable choice
Lets the Pandragon refugees escape to the Bifrost in order to interfere with Beradin's plans (Chapter 1).
The staged assassination
Beradin orders Vincent's death over his loyalty to the Black Prince (Chapter 6), but Karls Brandt wants him spared and has Hanzo fake the assassination instead — removing him from public power while letting the world, and Silver Arrow, believe he's dead. Arcia Landino is falsely blamed; Duke Stellian takes his place as governor.
The hidden hand
Believed dead, Vincent resurfaces twice to help the Alliance from the shadows — working undercover as "Kleiner" to aid G.S and Landam's infiltration of Cutis Castle, and helping the Cutis army retreat during the Four Imperial Guardians' occupation.
A New Ally
Purged by Beradin and unable to return to the Empire, Vincent formally joins Silver Arrow — alongside Gishne, equally unable to go back after spending the whole arc investigating Beradin. The payoff of the Kleiner thread running since Chapter 6. Whether he ever learns what his mercy at Moonshade set in motion, or reconnects personally with Iyolin and Lacid, isn't confirmed yet.
