One of the Imperial Seven Knights, with a special loyalty to the Black Prince that leaves him harboring deep resentment toward Beradin. A swordsman with excellent skills and cold judgment, but who can at times be emotional — Karls Brandt, once his mentor, is now one of the Four Imperial Guardians, and Kashutar (like the Black Prince) believes Karls betrayed him, resenting him deeply for it.
An apprentice to Karls Brandt, he relentlessly pursues Iyolin's party in Chapter 1.
