The Three Sacred Treasures of Pandragon

A recurring plot thread across Chapters 1, 13–14/17–18, and 22–23 — the keys that unlock Heaven's Castle and the divine legacy of the twelve Lord Gods.

Scepter of Glory

The first of the three treasures. At the story's opening it has been moved from the old Curtis (Clips) region to Imperial control. Iyolin's Curtis raid in Chapter 1 recovers the Scepter of Glory — this is the trigger that starts the whole story in motion.

Recovery of the Scepter is what forces the Pandragon party to flee north to Bifrost, where they meet G.S. The Scepter is also how the monk Dennis appears briefly in the Chapter 1 events, though that thread is not fully resolved in the main narrative.

Chief's Crown

The second of the three sacred treasures of Pandragon. A royal crown recovered during the liberation campaigns of Hastings and Pandragon Castle (Chapters 13–14) and the later Thunderdoom/Gratias Plains campaigns (Chapters 17–18) — which is why those game periods are named the Chief's Crown arc. It provides superior magic resistance compared to the Scepter of Glory, making it the most combat-useful of the three in practice. Its recovery is tied directly to the liberation of Pandragon and Iyolin's coronation.

Note on Barisada

Though not one of the three sacred treasures, Barisada is a separate sacred relic of the Pandragon royal house — the ignition key for the first-class Machina Arondite. Passed from King Ashur through Ice Pandragon to Lacid in Chapter 20, it also enables the Seolhwa Nanyeong technique. When Draupnir Mond recognises it, that recognition reveals Crow's identity as Ice Pandragon.

Stormbringer

The third sacred treasure and a legendary holy sword, recovered from the Tower during the 'Search for the Sacred Sword' arc in Chapters 22–23. Its recovery is complicated by a simultaneous confrontation: Beradin arrives to seize a God of Destruction statue from the Tower, leading to Grishne's one-on-one magic duel with Veramod. The Stormbringer itself is recovered successfully. Unlike Barisada, Stormbringer's combat application is more direct — it is a first-class weapon in its own right.

The Seal of the Gods

All three sacred treasures are required to unlock the Seal of the Gods at the heart of Heaven's Castle. When G.S offers the three at the Seal, the fortress activates, the party receives the revelation about the true history of the world, and the strategic situation changes fundamentally: the Sky Stronghold is now in Silver Arrow's hands, solving the supply problem that killed Iyolin's expedition.

The three treasures are the mechanism by which the twelve Lord Gods intended their Esprit-bloodline descendants to eventually discover the truth of the world's creation.

The 8 Wonders

A separate, wider net than the three sacred treasures: eight mysterious ruins across Antaria first catalogued by the adventurer-king Yugedepayne of Pandragon, recorded on a parchment along with their locations, entry methods, and structure. The eight are the Tomb of the Brave, the Tower of Magic, Underwater City, the Ice Castle, the Temple of the Sun, the Underground Palace, a Pyramid in Trisis, and Heaven's Castle itself.

The parchment resurfaces as a plot engine in its own right: it's what Robin unwittingly steals from the Granada Merchant Guild's stash in Chapter 8, and what Beradin wants recovered above all else — because, unknown to almost everyone chasing it, each of the 8 Wonders also conceals a God of Destruction statue. Reading the parchment at all requires knowledge of the Ancient Language, which is why the Empire needs scholars, not just soldiers, to make use of it once recovered.
