Esmeralda

A young female physician who runs a free clinic in Pretoria. Her broad medical knowledge, incorporating Eastern medicine, and her masterful healing magic have earned her a reputation as a renowned healer.

As kind-hearted as she is beautiful, she treats the common people free of charge and is called the 'Saint of Pretoria'. She is later moved by the character of Cyrano Bernstein, who saved her, and comes to work alongside him to repay the debt.
