Aided by a young Valtan boy named Nin, he hides in a cave behind a waterfall — where he stumbles onto a God of Destruction statue. Cornered there by the dark wizard Sangir, he offers up the statue's location in exchange for his life, but is killed anyway; Strider and Lucas find his body shortly after.
