Duke Moselle

Ruler of the Duchy of Bifrost and an old friend of the late King Ashur. He shelters the Pandragon refugees when Imperial forces cut them off from Dagal, and it is on his recommendation that G.S is hired to guide them over the Gigantes Mountains. His neutral duchy is a recurring point of contest between Silver Arrow and Dark Armor.

He convenes the Council of Elders to investigate the rumors of Ascalon's reappearance in Chapter 2, and is assassinated in Chapter 15 while G.S is in Bifrost as an envoy — a murder G.S is framed for, with catastrophic downstream consequences.
