Ragnum

One of the elders of the Duchy of Bifrost. Murdered by the dark wizard Sangir in Chapter 2 — part of Sangir's use of Imperial and Black Legion troops in Bifrost to eliminate him and drive a wedge between the Duke and Senate factions. Witnesses mistake the Imperial Asura Machina involved for Bifrost's guardian deity Ascalon, which is the source of the "Ascalon reappearing" rumors that spread through the duchy afterward.
