Escape from Ice Dragon Castle is challenge-based content that follows specific rules, offering various rewards based on your results.

This guide is designed to help our Guardians navigate the basic progression and conquer the content more efficiently.

Escape from Ice Dragon Castle is a weekly single-player PvE content where you must escape an ever-changing castle.

By selecting map regions and using 7 randomly chosen characters each week, you can escape the castle and earn various rewards.

Escape from Ice Dragon Castle does not consume any currency, and you can re-challenge without limit until you claim your rewards.

However, upon re-challenging, all Ice Dragon Castle Coins and Relics stored in the Vault will be reset.

Rewards can be obtained once a week. After claiming rewards, further play is unavailable for that week.

Rules

1) Basics

Escape the castle with 7 characters on a map selected each week.

Maps and characters are randomly changed every week.

Upon entering, you can select and obtain 1 out of 3 randomly presented Relics.

2) Combat

Only the 7 designated characters can be used in battle.

Characters that reach a state of Knockout cannot be used in subsequent battles.

Once entered, combat cannot be canceled. Losing or forfeiting a battle results in a failed escape.

Upon failure, you can either claim the rewards earned up to that point or forfeit all progress to re-challenge.

3) Story

Story events occur at specific points during the escape.

The final boss may change depending on your choices.

4) Rewards

The higher the enemy level, the more Ice Dragon Castle Coins you can obtain.

Character Selection

1) Character Selection

If you own the selected character, you can choose between your own or the Mercenary version.

2) Character Information

Mercenaries possess fixed skills that cannot be changed.

They come equipped with default gear, and equipment settings cannot be modified.

Map

Check the map structure to strategically select your escape path.

You succeed by reaching the right end of the map.

Regions contain the following elements:

  • Treasure Room
  • Enemy
  • Rest Stop

1) Treasure Room

Ice Dragon Castle Coins and 2 random Relics appear.

Coins are stored in the Vault, and both Relics are obtained.

2) Enemy

Combat occurs in enemy regions.

Victory stores a certain amount of Ice Dragon Castle Coins in the Vault; defeat results in failure.

Upon victory, you can choose between additional Ice Dragon Castle Coins or 1 of 2 random Relics.

Stronger enemies provide more Coins and a higher chance for Rare Relics to appear.

3) Rest Stop

Choose 1 character in a Knockout state to recover.

If no characters are in Knockout, no effect occurs.

Relics

1) Relics

Relics have effects exclusive to Escape from Ice Dragon Castle and do not apply to other content.

Relics are categorized into Rare / Hero / Legendary grades.

Higher-grade Relics have more powerful effects but lower appearance rates.

2) Discarding Relics

View held Relics in [Bag] → [Relic] tab.

There is a limit to the number of Relics you can hold.

If you hold too many Relics, you cannot move to the next region. In this case, you must discard some Relics to proceed.

If your bag is full or you have unnecessary Relics, use the [Discard] button to remove them.

Rewards

1) Vault

Ice Dragon Castle Coins obtained during the escape are stored in the Vault.

View the stored Coins for the current challenge in the Vault menu.

Upon re-challenging, all Coins in the Vault are reset.

2) Obtaining Rewards

Upon defeat, choose to re-challenge or claim rewards.

You can also claim rewards via the Vault menu on the map screen during progress.

Claiming rewards awards all Ice Dragon Castle Coins currently in the Vault.

Rewards are available once a week; after claiming, you cannot re-challenge that week.

Upon re-challenging, all Vault Coins and Relics are reset.

While already claimed coins are kept during a reset, if you do not claim rewards before the reset time, the rewards will be reset and cannot be obtained.

Please ensure you claim your rewards before the reset.

3) Clear Reward

Defeating the final boss and escaping successfully awards Ice Dragon Castle Coins and 4 pieces of Hero Gear.

Coins in the Vault are distributed together as the final reward.

Since clearing the boss proceeds directly to reward acquisition, you must re-challenge before clearing the boss if you wish to restart.

4) Exclusive Shop

Access it via the Shop page or the Escape from Ice Dragon Castle title screen.
