Struck down by a Geysir soldier during the flight from Moonshade, just before the Paladin Corps escapes to Bifrost. Iyolin makes the painful call to leave him behind rather than risk the whole Corps trying to save him, and he's believed dead by his own comrades.
Captured at Cutis
He isn't dead — taken prisoner rather than killed, he turns up alive among the rescued captives when the Dagal Mercenaries free him and the rest of the captured Resistance during the retaking of Castle Cutis.
A Promise at Thunderdoom
Marches on from newly-captured Fort Thunderdoom while Siren Woodvile stays behind to defend it; the two promise to meet again — the on-screen payoff of his quiet, long-kept crush on her.
Lacid's Escape
Survives the Trisis disaster, having been sent away with Haya Belle in time to guard Lacid.
