Blueseed

Baja asks Arcion to look for his missing daughter. Arcion explains the request to the party, and they prepare to set sail.

The search turns into a gauntlet of pirate crews: Arcion's party fights through the "Show Me The Eld" crew, the "Men of Wine" crew — learning along the way that the Amigo Trade Corps is being targeted by pirates — and the "Reaper of the Sea" crew, who finally point them toward Blueseed Island, along with a warning about the Polar Kraken. A fourth crew, the "Rising Sun" pirates, reveals that the Amigo Trade Corps has headed east.

Caught in the chaos of the Polar Kraken's appearance, Arcion's ship is destroyed and the party is thrown into the sea. They wash up on the coast of Blueseed Island itself — pirate-infested, and soon pursuing them — and barely manage to set out again in a single salvaged boat, uncertain of what comes next.

They wake on another unfamiliar island, this time facing a horde of monsters rather than pirates — until the creatures retreat under a mysterious girl's Words of Power. Clotho fills them in on the island's circumstances. Elsewhere, in a cutaway to Crow and Riona's storyline, Crow — having heard the latest on the Empire from Riona — returns his focus to training.

This chapter is Kashmir's own southern-sea ordeal, run in parallel with Lacid's separate search for the Divine Weapon (Chapter 25) — the two strands converge directly at what's very likely the same island, Notesi Island, matching Chapter 25's own account of meeting the Kashmir Mercenaries there.

The "Sword Demon Crow" cutaway resolves an old open question: the title 검마 (Sword Demon) had once been tentatively flagged as possibly belonging to Karls Brandt, but this chapter confirms it's Crow's.
