Knight Order Lab
A new experimental Knight Order War with strategic defense-deck buff cards
Overview
Knight Order Lab is a new form of Knight Order War that runs separately from the existing mode. The classic Knight Order War stays exactly as it is; the Lab is a new option added inside the Knight Order menu.
How It Works
Each season lasts one month, with one battle per week (four battles per season). To keep the extra load light, auto-participation is disabled — every member opts in individually. Each season introduces new Lab-only content such as battle maps, objects, and buffs.
1. Old Map Buffs Removed
Unlike the standard Knight Order War defensive lines, the per-line map buffs are removed in the Lab.
2. New Defense Deck Buff Card System
In place of the old fixed defensive-line map buffs, a Defense Deck Buff Card system lets you pick and apply buffs strategically. Each season provides 5 defense buff cards; when building your defense decks (Round 1 and Round 2) you assign one card to each deck.
- •A card already used on one deck cannot be reused on the other, so choose carefully.
- •Chosen cards stay on their deck across season changes, and if a card's effect is later changed, the new effect applies automatically.
Season 1 defense buff cards:

| Balance (buffs all characters) | All characters in the deck gain Final Damage +10% / Final Damage Taken -10%. |
| Faction (faction buff) | If every character in the deck is the same faction, all gain Final Damage +15% / Final Damage Taken -15%. |
| New Face (buffs 2 specific characters) | Listed characters in the deck gain Final Damage +25% / Final Damage Taken -25%. (Characters: Eustacia of Ruin, Liddell Hart) |
| Reenacted Glory | Listed characters in the deck gain Final Damage +40% / Final Damage Taken -40%. (Characters: Marie Pandragon, Phantom Thief Scharnhorst, Crow, Karls Brandt, Elizabeth Pandragon, Ophelia Buckingham) |
On the defense-deck screen you can see at a glance which buff card is applied to each deployed character, and any character receiving a buff shows a dedicated buff icon to help you plan your composition.
※ Applied buff cards are also reflected in the Lab's Mock Battle so you can test compositions before the real fight.
Battle Rule Changes
For fiercer, more dynamic battles, the Lab changes the following:
- •Attack count raised: the Lab's attack count goes from the standard 3 to 4. To match this, the durability of buildings like defense towers and barracks is increased.
- •Varied maps per season: a new battle map is provided every 2–3 seasons.
Season 1 map preview: an object in the center of the map restricts movement, making for more strategic battles.
Honor Rewards
Because this is extra content on top of the existing Knight Order War, free participation is encouraged with fatigue in mind. Guardians who take part actively above a certain level and leave feedback will receive special honor rewards such as titles, frames, and profiles as a thank-you.
