Overview
Error Code: Diene is a seasonal World Boss raid, built around Diene, the Prime God of justice, as the first 'Error Code' deviation. Each Guardian builds up a performance record against the boss over the season, and rewards are granted by the record you accumulate. It is designed so a broad range of heroes across elements and types can contribute, not just a handful of top units.
Where it lives
Diene is one of the modes in the Cosmos menu, alongside the Ark story, Inner World, SIZ Archive and Simulation Training.
How a season runs
- •Seasons last roughly one to two weeks, split into weekly battle windows that open on set days.
- •The boss has a Break gauge. Each season sets which damage type lowers it. One Korean season, for example, only reduced Diene's Break gauge with magic damage, forcing different team-building.
- •Diene has an element each season (e.g. Flame / Freedom). Only certain elements can enter, and specific characters receive a seasonal buff; the notes tease a few featured units before each week's fight.
- •Map buffs stack on top: armor-type bonuses (e.g. crit for Medium, attack/healing for Light) and increased Strike, Magic, Area and Penetration damage.
- •Your goal is a high score; leaderboard placement (top 1-3%, top 200, etc.) determines the reward tier.
