Xavier the Ice Dragon

An ancient dragon sealed at the Ice Dragon Castle in Bifrost, where it had spent a long time guarding a Destroyer Statue. Badly wounded by an attack from Beradin, it's Lacid who helps it recover — the basis of the pact Lacid forms with Xavier in Chapter 4, his first act of genuine independent heroism. Xavier is called upon again at the end of Chapter 20 to carry Lacid and Crow out of the Trisis desert.

One of three known Ancient Dragons — alongside the Fire Dragon Hellkite and the Lightning Dragon Behemoth — created by the Gods to protect Antaria. Not immortal, but ageless, having lived since the beginning of time.
