A navigator who has been a wreck since losing his wife, Morita, initially unmoved by Kaja's attempt to recruit him. Kaja's persistence brings his memories of her back to the surface, and he agrees to sail again

He is rescued by Lacid's party when voyaging with Kaja and eventually guides Lacid's party once their destination turns out to match his own. Once they reach the faraway island where his wife Morita is buried, he revisits the grave one more time
